The Canik is by far my favorite of my current pistols.As for the optic, TP9 SC series is optics ready on sheild RMSc foot prints. RDS doesn't fit directly on the slide, mine is based on the plate as well if u look closer.The good news is, with every Canik handgun u get the base/ adapter plate in the package so u don't have to buy it separately.
